Meet Karen Wright.

Licensed Cosmetologist

Karen Wright is a licensed cosmetologist, with a passion for helping the elderly, home bound, disabled veterans, dementia patients, or any other client that physically have a difficult time getting out of their home to receive a haircut. To ease the stress of having to travel to and from a salon, Karen provides a hair cutting service for men and women in the comfort of their own home. She knows how difficult it can be for family/caregivers to transport a person to and from various appointments.

​When her father turned 70 years old he suffered a stroke. Consequently, he lost his speech, he was paralyzed on his entire right side, and became wheelchair bound. Her mother, who was only a few years younger than him, became his  care taker. Karen watched her once strong and strapping father dwindle down to 125 lbs., and her mother struggle daily lifting him in and out of his wheelchair, and in and out of a vehicle, Karen realized there was a need for this service. After going to her parent's home to cut his hair and beard on a regular basis,his visiting nurses and aides stated how nice it was that her parents had her. There were so many patients that requested this service and know that the aides couldn't preform this part of home health care.

Karen's father has since passed away; however, she has decided to create a business that is geared towards making the lives of these people just a little easier by providing this in home hair cutting service.

Karen obtained her cosmetology license in 1992 in Rochester NY.  She has an Associate's degree in science from The Pennsylvania State university ( Penn State), specializing in Physical Therapy. Karen also attended Wake Tech Community College and obtained an esthetics license.
